WordPress with an LMS plugin suits simple courses and a few hundred students. A custom build makes sense when you need mock tests, large question banks, detailed progress data or thousands of students, which is what we built MockMindset for.
Yes. Videos and lesson text move across; student accounts are recreated and students invited. Reviews and rankings on the marketplace do not transfer, so many clients keep both running for a while.
Device limits, watermarked video and session controls, within reason. Nothing stops a determined person, so the better protection is a course that keeps getting updated and a community students want to stay in.
We can move an upgrade into version 1 and set a later date; your quote can show both options side by side. Most clients launch first, because real customers using the site show which upgrades are worth paying for.
Content or photos arriving late, more rounds of changes than agreed, or features added after the scope is signed. Your quote lists what we need from you and by when, so the date holds.
